• No accounts, ads or tracking cookies. We don't build profiles of visitors.
• Analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It is cookie-free and collects aggregate visit stats (page views, referrers, country and device type), with no personal profiles. The small script that does this loads from Cloudflare (static.cloudflareinsights.com).
• Newsletter: if you sign up, your email address goes to Kit (kit.com), the service that sends the Thursday email. We only use it to send the newsletter, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
• Submit form: what you type into the "list your bar" form is stored on Cloudflare (our web host) so we can review it by hand. We also keep the date, your country and browser type, plus a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address to block spam; we never store the IP itself.
• "Near me" stays on your device. If you allow location access, the distance math runs in your browser, and we never receive your location.
• Maps are off until you ask. City maps load only after you tap "Show map". Then map tiles come from OpenStreetMap, which sees standard request data like your IP address. The map code itself is served from this site.
• If we add sponsor links or other services later, we'll update this page first and say which providers we use.
